CARF Accreditation

CARF Accreditation and Our Mission

While the mission of CARF is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through continuous improvement of services, here at Silver Lining our mission is to help guide families into a brighter tomorrow by procuring quality service, improved information, and enjoyable communication!

With these missions working in tandem with one another, we will be able to procure higher quality service delivery avenues while making sure that the persons served are receiving care that is dedicated to them in a person centered way.

CARF Accreditation and Our Values

CARF stands by the values that all people have the right to be treated equitably with dignity, respect and inclusion. That all people should have access to needed services that achieve optimal results. That all people should be empowered to exercise informed choice. These values are demonstrated through CARF's commitment of having a continuous improvement of both organizational management and service delivery, diversity and culutural competence in activities and associations, enhancing the involvement of persons served, having the persons served be an active participant in the development and application of standard practices, and enhancing the meaning, value, and relevance of accreditation to persons served.

This vision compliments Silver Lining's approach in philosophy that those we serve are trustworthy, capable of self-understanding, inherently valuable, able to make constructive decisions, and are able to maintain productive lives. Silver Lining in tandem with the CARF accreditation guidelines and standards is constantly seeking new ways to improve on the value based assessment of persons served. To help show that everyone is worthy of the best quality care and support. We want to be committed to ensuring a persons goals can be realized here and that those goals are individualized to the needs of the person. The vision continues when life does and Silver Lining with partnership and accreditation wants to help in making lives better through continued improvement of practices and policies with input from everyone involved.

CARF Accreditation and Our Vision

CARF maintains the vision that through responsiveness to dynamic and diverse environments, CARF serves as a catalyst for providing access to services and improving the quality of life of persons served. This vision in tandem with our own vision of  providing a positive approach to service delivery, striving to provide innovative quality and outcome driven services while partnering with community programs and agencies, means that we are dedicated to contributing to the well-being and best choices for those that we serve.

We want to provide the best supports that we can through a continually improved method of service delivery. In so doing, we allow for less competitiveness within the field and a higher standard of person centered thinking and planning. Rather than looking to just bring people on with Silver Lining, we also want to help those we serve partner with other local providers to help provide them with the best supports they can find.

CARF Accreditation and Our Improvement

CARF utilizes a set standard practice for going above and beyond the normal bounds of service delivery. CARF is in the business
of consulting with provider agencies to help provide a better standard of practice within the lives of persons served through continual improvement of those that do the service.

At Silver Lining Care Management we want to utilize CARF not only as a means to gain knowledge and go beyong normal service needs, but also to continually improve our outlook and avenues for interacting with those we partner with and serve. We want to adopt the continued review and improvement of our own standards thereby creating an environment that is safe, stable, and progresses toward the needs of others rather than staying stagnant within the field of service delivery. Ultimately CARF will help us to improve and continually monitor ourselves in the progress of continued support and education as it pertains to persons served and our competence in service delivery.
